I'm a 14 year old guy....but i'm homeschooled.
And I just moved across the country so i don't have any friends.
I see kids my age walk by my house every day coming home from school...but since i'm homeschooled, i don't have any friends, and I'm a freshman in highschool.
I'm kinda shy, but people say i'm easy to get along with...any suggestions on how to make friends, or any good conversation starters?

Maybe you should try and join some sports teams, cadets, or other extra curricular activities...you just need to put yourself out there and be as out going as possible even if it causes you to be out of your comfort zone.

You could always ask your parents to allow you to attend public school. If not, then you need to get over your shyness and say "hi" or invite the kids you see walking over for a game of football/basketball/soccer.

homeschooled that must suck,and u have moved acrross country well thats always hard for any1,u should chek out any cominity activitys eg.sports,club or something like that!most people have told u to just walk up to them and say wats up,well i dont know were ur from but were im from na u dont wanna walk up to any1 and say wats up coz they might take it the wrong way if u know wat i mean!goodluck to u anyway....

If you’re good to get along with, then just be yourself. You could say what's up, what's your name..... or Hi, I'm ..... what' happening ............ Or something like that.

when you see them walking by or playing ask if you could join them and c wat dey say most likely it would b yea but just try and c it could help theproblem and you can get lots of friends
