Depends on your skin tone and why you are wearing it. If you just want to look sexy any colour is and pastels can also be a turn on. I think the trick is to have it worn in a way that lets it only occasionally 'peek out'.

As trim it depends on for what.

So generally I (as a male who generally can't even tell you what he is wearing) would say darker skin white lace lighter skin black lace.

White lace on white garments. White lace in utterly feminine. Black lace on black garments..... now that is downright sexy. I know that black lace is shown with other colours but sometimes it makes something look more trashy than classy.

Depends what else you are wearing! I like to wear both (but not at the same time). A bit of black lace from your slip that peeks from your skirt from time to time will certainly turn guys heads without looking trashy :-)

well if your wearing a darker outfit i think seeing black slip peeking out is very sensual. it has a certain sex appeal. Now if your wearing something dark and a white slip is showing its like seeing one of your teachers back in the school or grandma. Go go with the black slip.
