Give good reasons - "he's hot" is not a good reason. Also, expand on what you think she's thinking about them. This is just one of the fascinating facets to LOST that I love to ponder. They play it subtley and never really make a direction - though maybe after last night....

She should be with Jack. He took her under his wing from the very beginning. He has always cared for her, but I think that his feelings were hurt when she started showing some much affection for Sawyer in the hatch when he was near death. Kate always punishes herself for what she did to her Father (Killed him), and does not allow herself to be with an honest, good man. She wants it, but pushes them away. When she was Married to the Cop, she probably could have stayed after she told him, but drugged him instead and left. She's damaged goods, but Jack could help turn her life back around. Sawyer is just a con-artist, a deceiver, and a criminal. That's why she identifies with him, thinking that she only deserves a man like him. And so they "mated" last night. I guess that I identify myself more with Jack than Sawyer, so I route for the man that is most like me. Lets face it, Kate is hot in a very natural way. I would bet that most men watching wouldn't mind being on the island with her. Maybe that's what makes the show such a success, everyone can identify with a character. That just gave me an idea for another post. Bye!!!

It seems more like Kate is very attracted to sawyer but as said in an earlier episode she fears that sawyer is far too much like her step father. I think that jack reminds her of the boy that she got killed (the one that had the toy airplane) who was also a doctor.
In some respects jack and sawyer are very different. Jack is a leader while Sawyer is a troublemaker. In others they are very similar. Jack and Sawyer both push people away, they both fiercely protect those they have come to think of as their people and they both do what needs to be done despite the moral ambiguity or harm to themselves.
The sad thing is that it seems like kate is less of a person to these characters and more of a prize. I wonder if either one would be so infatuated with her if the other boy had no interest.
Plus, kate is USELESS. She has had a gun to her head THREE TIMES and each time it was her fault that they weren't able to make progress thanks to her safety.

i think that sawyer's a bettter match for kate. they both have some criminal tendencies, although kate had good reason for offing her dad (or was it her stepdad?). while sawyer likes to con people and push them away, he does have a softer side as evidenced in the episode two or three weeks ago when he had the prison warden deposit one million dollars into a bank account for his alleged daughter. also, jack can give off the impression that he thinks that he is morally superior to others, which may put kate off somewhat.
i don't really trust juliet, but i think that jack will eventually end up hooking up with her (even though i don't think that she looks like his ex-wife like ben said she did), plus jack did see kate and sawyer together on one of the surveillance videos when he "escaped" out of his holding area so he may not be too keen on kate right now. i guess we'll find out more in 3 months or so

well if everyone payed attention in season two when sawyer went to jack b/c he had headaches and ended up needing glasses he admited to having an std and its not like they have the best hygiene on the island........ so now i think jack should stay as far away from kate as he possibly can cuz now we know what shes got.. not to mention we know kates going for sawyer he the bad boy kind as where jack is a goody goody...

interior the begininng I enjoyed Kate and Jack, yet i've got grown to love Kate and Sawyer and grew to become into sooo happy whilst they have been given at the same time. i think of interior the tip they are going to be those at the same time, yet in some unspecified time interior the destiny previously the sequence ends i think of she'll get with Jack or something.

While since she did the thing with Sawyer last night i guess the writers have already decided. I like Jack. I'm not into the bad boy thing. She is a murderer on the run; he is an ex-con. I guess it works

sawyer! because he's hot! and that's a totally valid reason! well also because he has that adorable smile, great accent, he's totally sweet and how many times has he risked his life for her?! I never used to like Jack but he's starting to grow on me this season. I still want Kate and Sawyer to end up together though. haha-Jack's face when he saw them making out was priceless! you would think he'd just say 'that ***** she can find her own way off this damn island now' :D

i love the bad boy/ bay girl dynamic. she said she could not keep running and with a good guy you would have to keep the lie up. and as we all know will wear on your brain.so yes ,sawyer is hot and jack is smart and good.
