when you come to a stop on a hill, how do you keep from rolling backwards?

Use your hand brake if you have one. Myselfe; I apply the brakes and use a kind of heel-toe tecnique when I release the clutch and take off. Practise. Practice. practice. Drive safe.

well coming to a complete stop on a hill from making your car from going backwards is dong take your food off the brake if you are drivng. but if you are parked make sure your wheels are going to the lfet and you have your parking brakes on

Once you get the feel for the clutch and accelerator you will be able to do it naturally. Until then use the emergency brake. Make sure you release it once you start to move.

just let off the brake and quicly push in the clutch while giving it some revs, then release clutch. gotta remember to do this quick but no need for the park brake junk.
