ok the gauge light came on now the speedometer/odometer an all other gauges dont work an when i trun on the head lights the clock an radio light go off i have checked the fueses an they are working an the dash lights wont work i dont have a clue does anyone

It sounds to me that you have a very bad or possibly no body ground at all. Check all your ground connections starting at the battery. Good Luck.

Sounds like one of two things. Either a bad ignition switch or a bad multifunction switch from the info you have given.
A repair manual can be obtained at almost any parts store.
Haynes, Mitchell, and Chilton are the more popular ones.
A SHOP manual is what you get at the dealer. It has more info about your car than you would ever want to know, but they are very complete, and expensive. For wiring diagrams and schematics, the shop manual is the way to go.

you can get a repair manual from the parts department of your local dodge dealer. you will probably have to order it. should take a few days. i am guessing you have a short in the dash somewhere.
