In the beginning, the hot flashes can be the worst. I had some that made you want to strip naked and go running down the hall. But they do eventually get better. Each woman is different, and the symptoms can last for years. You might ask your gynecologist regarding a hormone replacement therapy, but be careful. Hormone replacement has pros and cons and one con is the possibility of cancer.

I think menaupause is awful from what happend to my mom. My mom hated it and she was a bit crazy. Still is if you ask me. It messed her up she had a period or two that lasted a a hole month, a hemmoraige and all kinds of crap. Its no fun thats for sure. The hot flashes with her started when she was 35 and still has them at 52. So it takes a while for some people others may be different.

Bad for some, not for others.

Hormones take away the hot flashes and night sweats.

for the husband it can be very difficult. Suggest counseling for hubby. Husbands even though they know better, blame themselves for some of the irritableness that sometimes accompnies the change.

there are other health problems that cause the symptoms you are describing might want to drop by a Dr. and ask about those.

It's different for everybody some doesn't have any symptoms then others really have it bad, as for me I have hot flashes. 30 sounds quite young, you should get checked out, and find out for sure.
