TN has a law that requires anyone that has reason to believe that child abuse, neglect, or sexual abuse to report it to law enforcement.
You can make anonymous reports to the Dept of Children's Services. The Child Protective Services team will start a file and follow up.
DSC-CPS has a lot of power. They can remove children that they think are being abused, neglected, or sexually abused.

They normally don't just bust up into your house and demand you take a drug test for no reason. There would have to be a reason for the test.

The state of TN believes that if you engage in the use, manufacture, purchase, delivery, or sales of illegal narcotics, you are unfit as a parent.
However, they will work with you to try to help you change your ways.
Please note -- the emphasis is on the child's welfare, not your parental rights.

You should call an attorney for specifics. However, if someone has a suspicion of something wrong in a child's home, they are required by law to report it, and there will be an investigation.

I think you had better call an attorney on this one.

.If they have probable cause they can but other than that I can't see how that would be legal.
