Campaign Promises?

Is there a way (I'm getting too old to reply on my memory) to get a list of issues that a politician ran on so that a year from now it's possible to follow up and see how full of crap they were?

Most politicians, at least in my area, ran on a platform of "the other guy sucks"

I would love to know if you find one. All though I don't know what good it would do they are all full of crap. LOL!!
