London's water is the safest and cleanest in the world. Don't be fooled by the hype to buy bottled water, it tastes no different from tap water and is free.

The water is totally fine in London. It's safe and tastes fine though it may taste different than what you are used to. Bottled water isn't too expensive in groceries but in restaurants it is and London in general is expensive, so save the cost of the water and just drink tap.

I just got back from london a month ago. I loved it there but the water tasted bad to me. So, everytime we were out, we would stock up on bottled water. It is not that expensive, but that depends on the brand. I think that I remember buying bottled water for around 70 pence. That is not expensive. Also, do not go to the really expensive stores either, unless you can afford it, but there really is no point.. Also. even though this was not in the question, a really fun place to go and learn about the history and folklore about london in the london dungeon. It seems really scary, but it definentaly is not. It is more funny than scary. You will love it.

London tap water is probably amongst the safest in the world, and everyone drinks it.

London is a hardwater area, so if you are from an area where the water is soft you may take find it tastes "different". Personally, I cant stand the taste of soft water and always by bottled water when travelling to softwater areas.

Of course it is. That's like asking "do you have flush toilets in America".

I wouldn't say London had the best water though, I prefer stuff that has only been used once since it last fell as rain. In the north east the water is from reservoirs, not recycled from rivers. The US can't say anything about water quality, many of their cities use river water too.

the united kingdom has the cleanest faucet water interior the ecu, and maximum in all possibility the international. while in Spain or Germany (specific that is not merely Kenya with grimy water to the guy who reported that) that are additionally very more advantageous countries you're inspired to drink bottled water, interior the united kingdom that is completely effective. the only difficulty human beings might have is interior the pipes to their own homes, yet that is totally uncommon and motels extremely might make confident that is optimal to drink.

The water is most likely "safe", as it is in most places...for the people who live there. But as most ravellers will tell you, they learnt the hard way....water does vary from place to place and your body may very well not like what you give it from the tap so my advice is buy bottled. It's more fun and cheaper than Imodium!!!
