Does anybody know where to get a copy - DVD or VHS - in Canada? Also why is this movie only ever shown on TV at Christmas time?

I didn't realize it was only shown at Christmas time. No wonder I keep missing it every year. But it makes sense though. 'The Wizard of Oz' is only shown on Easter. And now for the 3rd year in a row, it seems 'Titanic' is gonna be the new Thanksgiving movie! When I was young, they used to show 'Willie Wonka' and 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' the same times every year, but I can't remember when.

I live in Canada and I love the sound of music, I am sure I have seen it at Zellers or Wal-Mart, Rogers, Blockbuster etc.
As for why it is shown at Christmas only, I do not know, that is a good question.

Try the Canadian version of Amazon.com. I'm not sure of the exact url but I do know it exists. As to why it's shown at Christmas, I have no idea.
