If I have a plastic water jug with some quarters in it. As a whole it weighs 36 lbs. If a quarter weighs 5.670 grams, how much money do I have? I do not know how much the jug weighs, just looking for an estimation. Thanks for your help!

1 lb = 453.6 g. so ...
36 pounds = 16329.6 grams

This means your jug wieghs 16329.6 grams and with each quarter weighing 5.670 grams that gives you 2880 quarters.

Divide the 2880 by 4 and get 720 dollars! - the jug weight.

$720

a quarter is 0.012500210265882558 of a pound.

That times 4 = 0.050000841063530232

36/0.05000084106353023 ~ $720
