if you mean Ralf Nader, i'd say he'll remain unedr spoken until he dies.
if you think Nancy Poulsie is left, well she's not.
as far as Rumsfeld resigning equally global peace, i think that remains to be seen.
i think a victory for the letf would be the impeachment of bush.
and representation in the government

From what i read, most of the folks just voted into Congress are moderates.
While i hope that this new government makes great strides in several important issues, I find it hard to believe that they'll do much better than Repubs did. It's not as easy as it sounds, and none of us are imune to political enticements.
I'm afraid we're in for more of the same.

Well, they are going to enact the 9/11 reforms that Bush ignored, so the right's lies about the left being soft on defending the country will be debunked.
They are going to boost the minimum wage so that people who work 40 hours a week won't have to worry about being able to put a roof over their head.
They will push for us to start developing alternative energies which will both help fight global warming and wean us off of the foreign oil that funds the terrorists.
In short, they are going to kick *** and take names, and come '08, they are going to gain seats in both houses of congress and take the White House.

The Rummy resignation is in a practical sense a cancer bandage instead of the needed cure of actual course changes. The same clowns are still in the WH. But it is a scalp to hang in the Dem lodge.
