My sons great-grandma gave him 2 old cars a couple years ago for Christmas. They are in their original packages and in good shape. I was wondering where I could go to see the value of them. One is a 1969 car and the other is a 1973 truck.

Thanks for the help

like someone said you can try looking it up on ebay but for me ebay is like for people who have the same stuff as you but they want more for it. Ok with the Hot Wheels and the Matchbox cars and trucks there is a field guide/ price guide made by Warman's. they have the values and identification that you need for value the toys. Now if they have a red line on the tire of the cars and trucks i've been told that they are valuable. it also depends on where it was made as well the ones that are made in china aren't so valuable than the ones that were made in Hong Kong or Taiwan. I suggest that you get the price maybe both books at your local bookstore. They helped me out alot.

Ebay will give you a price that you can expect to recieve. Collectors books will provide you with what an expert considers them worth.

If you want to sell, use Ebay pricing, if you want to insure or impress than use Collectors books
