the pretty cropped hair blonde, in my opinion had an alter-ego, she was the 'man' (in her mind) that killed the family except her friend who she stopped with.

Very gory film.

If you notice in the film, you dont see that blonde girl clash with the evil man.

Its more psychological than anything.. I dont know if you saw, but you know when the mother gets her throat cut, the blonde girl is in the wardrobe? She comes out to try and save the mother, the mother says 'Why?' you will only understand this towards the end. The audience will think the mother is meaning 'Why is HE killing me and my family?' You see towards the end.. the mother really mean 'Why did YOU kill me?'

Its probably the sort of film you have to watch twice to understand it.

I class it as psychological because the blonde girl ends up in the mad house..,. criminally insane?
