What the hell is it with these really dumb "signs of gayness" like wristbands and all the other dumb crap I read in this section. You know how you know a guy is gay? He has sex with guys. Period. All this @#!& about hair and clothes and shoes and jewelry and music and movies and all these other silly "tells" are fiction. Now spread the word so I don't have to keep explaining this.

"wears a wristband?"

HUH?

Is that some new "code" I wasn't aware of?

My son wears a wristband, does that make him gay? Oh, but he's also got two moms, likes theater, plays musical instruments, dresses up in costumes sometimes, and likes American Musicals....so I guess that automatically makes him gay, huh?

NO!

I really hate to break it to you, but my son and mostly likely your friend, is straight!

Well the only way to truly find out is by asking him. Most guys dress gay look gay sound gay act gay but are not gay so its a tricky situation to find out but the best thing is to stop wondering about if he is gay and just ask him if he is and if you want to go about it in another way just tell him something you seen on the news about gay people protesting and ask him how he feels about that he may open up and he may not.

Yes, he CAN be, but he may not be. A wristband and communication with guys is not a tell-tale sign that he is gay. He may just be shy around girls, or he may be gay. Ask him!

I don't see how wearing a wristband has anything to do with his sexuality. If he's sleeping with other guys then yes he is at least bi. does it really matter though? he's your friend...

It doesn't matter one whit to you whether or not he is gay...why would you care, or even ask. If he were, and he wanted you to know, he would tell you. As it is, it really is not an issue between you two. Leave it that way and stop being nosey. Good luck
