Well, I think that it's really hard to list just a few (and I'm not just saying that). For a Jordanian female who lived both here and in the west, I find that we are blessed with many things that can not be found anywhere else.
Close family ties, warmth of people around you and even in the street, good company, amazing sceinary, growing old around a large family, delicious traditional food, the sense of heritage and tradition in most aspects of your life, having all sorts of modern technology without losing our identity...
I believe that I am blessed with being a member of this part of the world!

I don't live in the Middle East but I have traveled to Lebanon and one of the best things there is the food. Others are the clubscene, the crazy people, their historic landmarks from 5000 years of civilization and the terrific scenery.

I am Egyptian..
Plenty of good things about Egypt actually (not to say it has no negatives, but u asked abt the positives)
* Beautiful Nile
* Kind People
* Safe
* No one mocks you for being religious
* If you are lost in the streets, or need any sort of help, be sure to find someone to help you.
* beautiful nature.. (anywhere outside Cairo! specially Sharm, Hurgada, Dahab, Taba, etc
* Facinating ancient history
I love it, in spite of all the other disadvantages that it has as well!
