I have on of those Sensor plugins.. that works. it puts sound in the wires, the mice hate that, they stay away from the walls I have it plugged into.
another fantastic idea, is Peanut Butter, put it on the trap, and they will go to it, they love the smell, you catch them every-time.

# Start hunting them for food, you wont be able to find any in less than a week.

# Put some mice poison in your house and garage as well, however this way you won't be able to know where they might go and die.

D-con rat bait. I know it's smelly but it doesn't last forever and you'll be rid of them in less than 2 weeks.
