When I was young I used to get that magazine, Highlights. Once there was this question that said: How many letters are there in the alphabet at christmas time? And the answer was 27. I never understood why and it has been driving me nuts for years! Please Help me with this!

try adding the letters together in the sentence "the alphabet at christmas time?" there are 27 letters counting the ?

add the letters in the phrase "the alphabet at christmas time" and you will get 26. i dont know where the 27 is.

are you sure it wasn't a typo? or maybe it was a forein alphabet? as far as I am aware there are only 26 charecters in the alphabet.
