He should definately know if the condom breaks - and he should tell you right away. As to your second question....no. There is no way for him to know that.

I am sure he could tell if the condom broke... he is going to start feeling something wet
As far as the pregnant... no he would not be able to tell just by having sex

you can tell if the condom breaks,it snaps and hurts like a bitchhhh
but i wouldnt know from expierience...im a virgin, but plenty of my friends have made mistakes
