Since everything science is telling us,coupled with the attitude towards nuclear proliferation, would would only be left to fantasize then whether or not there would be a world at all.
So the real question then, is what could we do to help prevent it.

USA will still be on top... Cars will all be electric.... Computers will take a backseat to some other breakthru device...

otherwise, all the same issues will be around in 50 years as there are today....

I have given this a lot of thought since 9-11-01. This is what I believe, and it's a bit scary.

By the time my unborn grandchildren are grown (2050, in my opinion), most of Europe will be majority Muslim, and well on the way to joining the caliphate. Election of Islamic politicians to EU leadership will be ensured. NATO will fall apart. There will be a new three-way split in world power:

- The West, consisting of us and the Aussies.

- The commies, led by the Chinese (no Islamist problems there - they won’t put up with it), partnered with leftist rulers of South and Central America

- The Islamic world, which will include the Middle East, Africa, Europe, parts of Russia, and most of the Pacific Islands. Possibly Canada too, which is already allowing Canadian Muslims to live under separate Sharia law.

The Islamic Caliphate, led by a “greater Iran”, will control any European and Russian nukes left within its territory. Any negotiated suspension of Muslim nuclear programs by the UN will become irrelevant. Muslims around the world will envision world domination as commanded by the Koran and submission of all to sharia law.

The US will be weakened by a lack of will to fight caused by the divisions between the right and the left, an economy now second to the Chinese, and a separate culture of Islamist society within its own immigrant population, created by political correctness on the left with a fear of offending the “peaceful Muslims”. The so-called “peaceful” Muslims will no longer feel any need to suppress their true desires to dominate world culture.

You see, there are some truths that just cannot be negotiated to an acceptable middle point. God exists versus God does not exist. Abortion is a woman’s right versus abortion is murder. People who believe that homosexuality is morally wrong versus those who accept it as just another biological variation. These examples cannot logically be resolved to a result that will please both sides, but within western society we have for the most part decided to work them out within our system of law and politics.

The values of devout Muslims versus the values of western society on the other hand, will not be decided in courts or congress, because they cross the international lines of countries that cannot possibly live with the rulings of each other’s courts or legislatures. The west cannot recognize the rulings of Islamic mullahs or sharia courts. The Islamic world will never accept the laws of western society. And within Islamic doctrine, the end result must be worldwide acceptance of Islam as the one and “true” religion. And they are very patient. Their society sees many ways to achieve this. The “moderates” see it happening through the exploitation of multiculturalism and lax immigration policies due to political correctness. They will simply assume control through the mathematics of higher world birthrates. This may take longer, but simple math cannot be changed. They will eventually outnumber us, and in a democratic system, numbers mean power. The Islamofascists simply want to accelerate the process to the same ends. The problem is that drive, action, power, and leadership in any structure are always concentrated at the poles. The weakest part of a magnet is its center. The same holds true for societies. Those with the most drive to lead come from the true believers. The moderates i.e. (“peaceful Muslims”) just want to go about their business, stick their heads in the sand, and hope no one will notice. An inescapable truth about Islamic society is that devout Muslims will grant more loyality to Islam than to the government of their host country, thereby making it unacceptable to inform on their more radical brothers.

If we want to survive as a society, we must accept that the tenets of Islam will not change from the inside. Its teachings do not allow for it. The commands of the Koran will not be modified to allow Christianity or Jewism (or atheism for you leftists) to live on equal footing. We will become second class citizens, Dhimmis *1 , Kâfirs, infidels. Then we will become extinct. The Koran says it must be so.
