the actual first king of ireland were apparently two brothers, heber and heremon, who ruled in 1700 B.C. but then heber was killed by heremon.

That would depend on if you mean all of Ireland or just 1 part of Ireland.

100& all the answers below are totally wrong, 1014 Brian Boru, Ard Rí (High King) of Ireland dies defeating the Norsemen ... Henry VIII declares himself King of Ireland, the first English monarch to do so. But his was under British rule. Your question was who was the first king of Ireland.
