mr clean magic eraser to get the grease mark off. you can use it on a painted wall and it will not take off the paint nor will it leave a residue. it works for the removal of everything easier. ice should work for the gum removal. good luck!

Hi Gemma
Put your hair dryer on, and point it at the chewing gum then just peel it off. Put dryer away and a hot cloth with some washing up liquid will clear up the grease.
Take care theluckyhedgehog xx

everyone is saying ice... however, goo be gone, is wonderfull. i think that is what it is called. i got that poster putty (very similar to gum) stuck all over my wall, and i used goo be gone to get it off. it also helps with the grease mark.
definately use it in a well ventalated area. it smells like oranges, but it will give you a major headach after a while.

get a dry cloth and put several pieces of icein it. hold it to the gum and as it freezes it will come off. After the gum is removed, use a damp clth with a little Dawn dish liquid on it and rub it on the spot. I wouldn't scrub it, the paint might come off too.

In High School one of my electives was to be in the Nurse's office. Girls that would have gum stuck in their hair would come to us and the nurse would remove it with ice. I guess the cold causes it to lose it stickiness. Peanut Butter works also but I don't recommend it for your wallpaper.

freeze it, with ice, or freezing spray, then smack it hard with the back end of a spoon til it smashes, it should then just crumble away, or chip it off in small pieces. with a knife or wallpaper scraper.
