- An innocent man is wrongly sentenced to death row for a crime he didn't commit. While in prison, he kills another man out of anger. The State later finds out that he didn't commit the crime he was sentenced to prison for.

- Question: Would he be found guilty or innocent of killing the other man in prison? He did kill the man, but then again, he wouldn't have killed him if the state hadn't put him in that position.

Greetings!

He would undergo the same trial process as in the first murder case. Being in prison, rightfully or not does not become a defense.

Good Luck

yes. he would be found guilty of of either murder or manslaughter due to extenuating circumstances. He still has a choice to not hurt anyone, same as if he was on the outside free.
