The way I figure it you would need about 1300 AAA batteries to start one of those big rigs... you would need 8 wired in a series to get 12 volts then 160+ sets of 8 wired parallel to get the amperage... but then again most trucks use 2 ,12 volt batteries so you would need to double that number...total cost$1950+
I know way to much free time on my hands this morning...

No, an "AAA" battery is 1.5 volt, an 18 wheeler is 12 volt. Plus you could never get up enough amperage to turn the starter.

there is a reason why semis have 2 to 4 batteries that each put out about 900 cold cranking amps 3600 total....good luck with the "AAA" batteries mabey a million would do it

Actually, many of todays big rigs have an air powered starter, needing no battery at all, as long as the air reservoir remains charged.
