I'm getting scared.

I think that is according to the Aztec calendar. I used to be scared of this but now I'm not. I think the reason I'm not scared anymore is because I know there is something after this for me. The fear of being killed or hurt doesn't scare me anymore because it would be fleeting, so quick. Think of how fast your life has been so far. Can you really remember the exact feeling of any pain you suffered in any injury you might have had in the past? I have had two children and I don't remember the pain like it was then. I know you are probably afraid but try and think of what your next adventure will be and how exciting it will be for you after this plane. Kind of like going on a vacation.

The Bible states in the Book of Mark, " 32"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33Be on guard! Be alert[f]! You do not know when that time will come. 34It's like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with his assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch."
If God hasn't told Jesus when He is planning to return, why would He have let your teacher know!!

If you go by Hindu philosophy, this world is created by God so as to give the souls an opportunity to do ` karma'. If one does make good of this life, the soul meets with the Parmatma, that is it achieves salvation.
Our souls are imprisoned in the physical bodies, yet they are free to decide and act as per their own wisdom. Now, what one does, one's fate depends on thae same... So enjoy the life, help the needy and don't be greedy. A body born has got to die some day..why Dec 2012, it could be anytime.. If your body dies, your world ends..So, Don't worry ...continue to do good deeds !

Your teacher said this because Dec. 21, 2012 is the last date on the ancient Mayan calander--that is, that is as far as the Mayans tracked dates into the future.
Jesus tells us that "no one knows the date nor hour" so we don't have to be afraid of the the predictions of other people or culture, we just strive to our life in a manner that is pleasing to God and helpful to others.

Your teacher is correct according to Mayan legend and their calendar. Their calendar was created many centuries ago and has been accurate so far. But.... it stops at Dec. 21, 2012. There is a TV program on tonight on the History channel that tells about this. It's pretty interesting stuff.

I'm not sure if the world is going to end or not, but I do believe that something is going to happen on that date. Check out the website www.December212012.com. I have found alot of interesting stuff there.

Your teacher needs to stop playing GOD only the lord knows when the world will end. The Lord created the world and he will destroy it.
