Ok, you must clarify.....Led Zeppelin, yes was classic rock. However Whitesnake was totally 80's, glam, hair band rock. The Doors, The Who, Allman Brothers, Skynyrd all classic rock. Poison, Ratt, Cinderella all hair bands. I love classic rock, it is what I grew up listening to, but there is a special place in my heart for all of those glam bands as well. I remember fondly the days of Sebastian Bach, Jani Lane, and Bret Michaels.........and that is how I prefer to remember them, in the 80's. Has anyone seen VH1's where are they now????

I grew up listening to KISS, Zeppelin, Queen, Poison and all of the hair bands of the 80's. Then the 90's and grunge came around and it all ended. I think the music back then was so much better than today.

I love classic rock. My favorite classic rock band in the Eagles, though I like the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith (the old years for both), Tom Petty, KISS, and Pink Floyd. Thanks for mentioning it, sometimes I feel like no one likes those except my parents.

Classics never go out of fashion, and just because others are as discerning in their taste as you, don't worry that's their problem.
I am a little concerned about the inclusion of Whitesnake, though!

I hear ya and feel ya. Bummer is that "Classic Rock" is now slowly but surely starting to show up on "Oldies" radio dials. Makes me feel ancient. Right now my player is loaded with (among those you mentioned) AC/DC, Aerosmith, CCR, Jimi Hendrix, Rush, Skynyrd, Nazareth, The Doors, The Who and a host of one-hitters. Keep The Faith and Rock ON!!!!!!!!
