The Pennine chain of hills stretches from the Scottish border southwards for over 200 miles forming the backbone of northern England and ending at the Peak District whose southern flanks merge into the English midlands. Arguably the Weaver Hills in Staffordshire are the southernmost uutpost of the Pennines.

My guess is you mean Pendle Hill. Home of the Lancaster witches. Not a place to visit alone on a dark and stormy night.
On the other hand if you stay late in the pub and the policeman arrives, don't worry, he just wants a pint before going home to the missus.

Pendle Hill is about 8 miles outside blackburn,heading towards North Yorks.
