Why is this country such a fan of oprah winfrey? Anyething she likes sells like crazy. Any body she wants to have a show, is a success (rachel Ray)..

That is an excellent question. She is more powerful than the president, and I have no idea why! She must be some type of alien that hypnotizes people that watch her show, and convinces them to follow her rediculous idealogy.

I often wondered about that also. I only admire her because she is the most successful female TV star ever. The reason she is the most compensated professional ever is because she syndicated the show since the beginning instead of working for a producer under contract. Her show can set the price in every broadcast market or threaten to go to another TV station. $50million+ annual just in TV syndication.
Oprah is just a TV phenomenon. She only looks good on TV. I'm sure in person she isn't so warm, so personal, so all-knowing. But when the TV camera pans in close to her face and shows her best profile, the audience makes a connection.

I think it is because of her generosity. She is always giving stuff away to her audience. She gives to charities, etc. I'm not a fan of Oprah. I think she is so generous because it gets more people hooked on her. She knows it makes her look good when she gives...and gives a lot.
I do know one thing. Oprah is not God or like God.

Oprah is an icon she gives and really care about people and not afraid to voice her opinions and she listen to others and sometimes she show other people that there is hope and to follow their dreams and she is a great motivator. I really think she is like that on and off TV you see when she goes to Africa and help she does things because its her calling. She'd not fake that's why people like her and she don't do stuff for publicity she is real!!

I don't think anyone has ever referred to God as a woman before. I think her success is attributed to her humble upbringing and what she has done for herself not as a woman, but a black woman. She connects with ordinary people like you and me and is very geniune in what she believes and backs up what she says. She uses her status to give others a break and is always giving things to others whom she does not even know. I think deep down inside we all wish we could be that generous to others.

Because she has pr oven to this world that she can do anything by herself...she started as a small talk show host and now she is a big time host with her own production company, the list can on and on.....She is fabulous in every and anything she does plus she is African American and a woman...what else does she need....

I wish I knew. It seems that her opinion means more to a lot of people than anyone else's. It's strange. I think she's far from God and quite honestly could care less what she says or does.

i don't watch her. who ever thinks shes like god needs some mental help. the reason i think she is so big is because she had a rough child hood. and a lot of females can relate to her as a woman, not a race.
