No. Your operator knows the number though. When it is withheld, it is still passed through the network, it just has a flag with it that says 'don't show this to called number'.

Afraid not. Some people who call from mobiles their numbers are automatically withheld. Often the caller is unaware of this fact.

No this is not possible best to save time effort and worry just change your number and be careful who you give it out next time their are nothing but nutter's out there who get their their kicks out of keeping people in misery. This happened to me and I got silent phone calls from withheld numbers day and in the middle of the night.

no there isn't, but you can ask your phone company to block all withheld numbers. good luck

amania_r is right,
used to work for VF - i could pull up my last caller details on the network computer & see who the hell was calling me even when witheld or private number - very usefull.

no but you can bar withheled numbers from ur phone, contact either ur home phone supplier or mobile co
