Depends on how tired I am and where I am. Give me the freedom and I can yawn and stretch to my heart's content. I HATE having to stifle my yawns, though....:o)
I still remember when I was like in the 2nd grade, I yawned the way they do in cartoons - you know, the exagerrated yawn with the noises and then smacking your lips afterwards - all my classmates and the teacher gave me funny looks. But what did I know/care? I was only 8! :o)

At work, I escape yawning by sighing quite a lot, and quite blatantly. Mind you, I've gotten so used to sighing, I don't even notice my own weariness anymore - and the scary part is that the HR people do. When I do yawn, it's usually because the air conditioning is malfunctioning and I'm in need of oxygen. I do suck in air much like asphyxiation (if only I knew how to spell it, or could be bothered to google it, yawn) at that time. When actually tired, I might groan a bit, but I tend to stop yawning quickly and fall asleep.

Just reading that question made me yawn! I make noises depending on how tired I am, but I have never screamed. Who screams when yawning?!

No, I don't do the Shaun of the Dead yawns. I barely make any noise & I rarely yawn in any case. Guess that means I'm awake & I've got enough oxygen in my system.

I yawn intensely when I know I want to leave a place to get people to stop talking. Otherwise just let it out and move on.

Somehow I knew this was yours...anyway, I don't scream or anything, but I do squeak sometimes at the end of a yawn.

Sometimes, if it is a particularly refreshing yawn. Dragon always likes to be sure her teeth are nice and shiny in case she yawns. Because when she yawns, you can see all her nice shiny teeth.
