If you have purchased the Windows xp then by turning on automatic updates you can do it,it must take care(see 'My computer' properties) or visit updates.windows.com to do th update.If you pirated version don't try it microsoft will ffire you.

What are you trying to update? If your talking patches, go to windows update. If you're talking hardware, we need to know what you already have.
