MY boyfriend went to the ER and he was complaining about pain in the groin area and they tested him for sexually transmitted diseases and urinary tract infection and those came out negative what else could it be

I'm echoing kidney stone. But then again, if they checked for a UTI, evidence of a stone should have shown up in the urinalysis.

It could honestly be a number of things. He needs to follow up with his family doctor to run more extensive tests if the pain hasn't subsided.

there is the possibility of kidney stones and the reason for the pain in the groin is that the stones are moving from the kidneys to the bladder

Kidney stones can cause pain on urination or the lack of urinaton. This may be very prominent when he is urinating. the stomes can be jagged and hurt to pass through the urethra

he has maybe testicular cancer..or sometime sexual transmitted diseases don't cuase discharge just pain..maybe its a more critical problem wrong then an std...maybe if he drinks too many sodas things like that will happen or he has an artery clogged,etc.

If it is a sharp pain during urination, it could be urethral stone, if the pain is dull and persistant it could be prostate problem like prostatitis.
