My husband wants a dual layer dvd writer for christma. I have no idea what I am looking for in one. Do I just buy the cheapest one?? Are there specs. that I should be looking for? Is one brand better than the rest??? He wants one for recording movies. Pls Help

Note: you want a drive that supports "DL" - DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, for example. "DL" means dual layer. Generally, the higher the number preceding it, the better. For example, a 4X DVD-R DL will write a DVD twice as fast as a 2X DVD-R DL.

go to walmart they have them there view there website put in search dual layer dvd writer .or go to walmart and ask them for one
