I want an eyeliner that stays put, and doesn't smudge, all day, and doesn't fade over long periods of time - please help...any suggestions?

Liquid eyeliner would stay the best.
But if you want to use a pencil, get some product called She Laq to go over it. Basically all of your eye makeup stays in place until you wash it off. You can get it at Sephora

I use the HIP Revlon-black eye shadow as an eyeliner and this works for me. It stays all day and it does not smudge, I like it.

The best that I have found and the cheapest (which the two together make this even better!) is liquid eyeliner by "wet n' wild". they are sold in most pharmacies lk Rite aid, which is also a great place to try makeup from because you can return something if you dont' lk it there and most people don't know this. So, even if you wan to try out a few liners......ifyou don't like them...you can return them and get your money back...Good luck to you !

Avon glimmer sticks stays on really good. Also, It doesn't need to be sharpened.
Personally, I think that liquid eyeliner comes out too dark and it is really hard to get off!!

Try Luxiva cream liner by Merle Norman. It comes in a pot and you have to use a liner brush to put it on, but it stays like no other! I use that on the top and then their Luxiva shadow (i get it wet and apply as a liner) on the bottom and it works very well!

I use Cover Girl it is the wooden pencil with the soft end that works all day for me. I even have my girlfriends using it because it if easy to put on, no more lighters, and it stays on really well.

My wife uses something called a glimmerstick by Avon. She uses their "waterproof, wash-off" mascara, too. She looks great all day with no smudges even when she gets teary eyed! She uses a cleanser that removes it.

use liquid eyeliner. it's the best for lid eyeliner. for under the eye, limit your use, but use a good quality eyeliner, like from MAC or avon, not drug store stuff.

Rimmel eyeliner! Its what I use and I have never had a problem with it like ever. They have lots of relly pretty and bold colours too!
