I had puchased an item a while back from a what "seemed" reliable seller. I paid and waited for my item. When nothing was recieved, in 2 weeks, I emailed the seller asking for a tracking number. NO reply. Then I sent one again asking for a refund. Still, NO reply. So I left a negative feedback on the seller's forum asking for a refund, and he accuses me of not contacting them and calls me names. So, I decided to let Ebay take the problem into their hands. Would they be able to do anything about the seller?

I did check his feedbacks before purchasing, and he seemed pretty reliable...I am very careful on Ebay.

It's not too much money. I would have just let it go, if he didn't throw false accusations against me. Now I'm just furious...

Did you file a non performing seller report with ebay? If not do so. It probably wont accomplish much, but worth a try. If you paid via Paypal file a claim for a refund. If via credit card file chargeback.

Unfortunately, I doubt Ebay is going to do anything about this situation. I went through the same thing with a handbag. I paid via PayPal immediately following the end of the auction. The seller repeatedly told me the package was on the way, however, it never came and they could not provide a tracking number. I appealed to PayPal and Ebay, neither of which did anything at all following investigations.

they should be able to do something as long as u have prof you paid for the item make sure u report it item not received
