Where in the **** is "He" hiding?????????????

Ok well he might be everywhere. There lies that gargantuan possibility! So let's see some proof. All I see is people running around with books with the word "Bible" on it. Yet, there is more proof of a cure for cancer than there is of this amazing White man that comes from the clouds and saves everyone.

Proof people. Proof. If there are almost 7 billion people on the planet, surely SOMEONE will have some proof!!! I didn't have to graduate from Lincoln High School to know that!

What would constitute proof? In the case, of God, there is no direct empirical proof of God. But your question makes me wonder, would there be any evidence that you would consider to be proof for the existence of God, or would I be wasting my time? Let me approach your question from a different angle. Had did the universe come into being? Either by purely naturalistic processes or divine sudden creation. Now evolution boasts that it is a science, but this is a false claim. Science is an empirical discipline, that requires testing and retesting to prove or disprove a hypothesis. Evolution can't do that to prove the origin of the universe, because the evolutionist would be adding an element that wasn't present originally man. So the test is tainted and will not yield reliable results. Further, all the provable laws, in particular, Thermodynamics fly in the face of evolution. Especially the Second Law, Entropy states that the universe is approaching a time when there will be no more usable energy, yet evolution states the reverse. The Bible teaches the universe will end one day, it teaches a downhill slide to destruction, but NO! people would rather believe what man says who wasn't there and doesn't know everything, but scoff at God who was there and knows everything. God appears to be hiding because you are not looking for Him.

In all actuality, God is a belief, not a thing. I personally do not believe in God, since the theory of evolution has been proved, which blows that Adam and Eve thing right out the door. The bible, on the other hand, is what it has always been, a large book of stories that has been changed and manipulated over time by various power hungry individuals, (man) who would like to rule the "common folk" to do their bidding. If they can make the flock follow their beliefs, then they have an element of control. And all it takes is one look at the riches the churches have, with the outrageous buildings, ornate cathedrals, priests and ministers driving Mercedes, and yet so many of the "flock" suffer. Our people suffer poverty, so lets build another multimillion dollar church so they can pray for things to get better. Learn the story of Constantine, and see how the bible is only the bits and pieces he wanted to include, which served HIS desires, while he had the rest of the parts burned and buried. And then King James came along and developed his version, including only the bits and pieces he wanted.

You are an angry sounding person. It really puzzles me why people who don't believe in God are so angry at those who do. How is this bothering you? Even if God did show His face some people would still not believe in Him, because of the hardness of their hearts. People have tried to burn and destroy the Bible, but they can't. Inside that book is where to look for Him, not at a rock concert or bar. Although, if He wants to get you there He will. Perhaps if you opened a Bible to John 3:16 and in a quiet place asked God to reveal Himself to you, you may be in store for a whole new life. Unbelief is a tough life, who helps you when your best friend dies, or you get sick with cancer, or you have a deformed child. Who, gives you rest at night when you are grieving the loss of a dead husband. Rod Steward? Well, I just quietly call out to Jesus and then fall asleep. You don't know what you are missing. Check it out. You tried unbelief and all you sound like is an angry person. If thats how you want to live, you have my sympathy.

In the movie “The Gods Must Be Crazy,” a native in the Kalahari Desert encounters technology for the first time--in the shape of a Coke bottle. I found this to be very amusing, but I also began to see parallels between his thought process, and that of the modern day Theist. Both are using CAVEMAN LOGIC to explain their world. I fail to see the difference between “hmm, bottle fall from sky, must be gods” and “hmm, trees and butterflies prove the existence of god.”

In both of these cases, someone is simply replacing one unknown for another unknown, but proving nothing!

Not only can God not be proven, but I will also go so far as to say that God can be disproved. It is impossible for something to be all knowing and all good. If you are aware that something bad is going to happen, and you allow it to happen anyway, then you cannot be all good. If God created everything, then he also created evil. It is also impossible to be all-powerful; can God create a rock that even he himself cannot move?

Proof cannot be provided by the 80% of the earth's population that believe in a higher power. The 10% who see Objective Reality can only roll their eyes when talking to the modern day Theist...faith is extremely impervios to reason.

Well I'm sure an attitude like that is very welcoming for Him! Swearing & taking His name in vain... He'll probably show up at your doorstep for tea this afternoon!

But seriously, lighten up! Why are you so angry with God? What do you expect? A giant hand reaching down from the sky?

God is only hidden from those that don't believe. God's face is in the faces of children. In the trees. In animals. In art & music. In you, in your loved ones. In a stranger. His beauty is all around us. Besides, faith means believing without seeing. You won't actually see God until you're dead & hopefully that won't be anytime soon. Even then, I don't know if you "see" him so much as feel His presence. He is a being. It's not like he's going to be an old man with a beard like in the Renaissance paintings.

repent for God is not mocked. Get your bible out and read it . There is a God. If it wasn't for him you wouldn't be here now. If you have cancer pray to God for healing. For God is Holy, an he has all power even over death, hell & the grave. If you say there is no God look around you and you will see him every where, in the grass, trees birds sky, water, people, animals & ect. Instead of cursing God. pray, read the bible, praise God in everything and see if things will get better. As I said God is not mocked and he can let cancer or something worse come upon you.

First of all, I must say that your blasphemous language should not be tolerated in this community. CHeck your rules on the website. Your changing the words to get them in is sickening.

That said, I will try my best to answer your question.

First of all, I take it that you believe the theory of evolution. You believe that everything we see and know came about by random chance. We are all an accident. The earth just happened to be the perfect distance from the sun so that we can survive. Your brain with billions and billions of cells just happened to develop to its state through thousands and thousands of years by random processes. I could go on and on. Let me tell you something, IT TAKES A LOT OF FAITH TO BELIEVE THAT!!
"Proof!! Proof!!" You say. "I want proof that God exists!!" If you believe that the galaxies and the planets, and the incredibly complex bacterial cells formed themselves by processes of chance, you are contradicting yourself. You have no real proof of that! You can't reproduce it in a laboratory! You MUST, when it comes down to it, ACCEPT IT BY FAITH.

If you are forced to see the fallacy of evolution, you are left with nothing else than to admit that there is a Creator. This Creator is God.

"When will God show His face?" you ask. Let me tell you, friend, God has shown His face. He came to earth in the person of Jesus Christ of Nazareth about 2,000 years ago. He lived a perfect, sinless life and died the cruel death of the Roman Cross to pay for your sin - yes, even the blasphemy at the top of this page. Then He rose again the on the Third Day to prove that He is powerful over sin and death. He is seated now in heaven.

Today, we have for our use the entire, inspired, perfect Word of God, the Bible. (Ask me how I know that it is true - that's another question - I believe it by faith and historical backup and other reasons) It is what we need for today. God reveals Himself to us through His Word, the BIble. If you ignore it, you ignore the revelation He has given.

Every man will one day see His face, the face of Jesus. I will see it one day in a glorious reunion with Him. That is because I have chosen to accept Him and have a relationship with Him. I ACCEPT HIM BY FAITH.
If you do not accept him, then He will reveal Himself to you one day. But He will reveal himself to you as YOUR JUDGE.
Find God in the Bible. He is there. He waits to have a relationship with you. ACCEPT HIM BY FAITH.

For those who believe, no "proof" is necessary. For those who do not believe, no amount of "proof" is sufficient.
