Arnold got re-elected because he has a lot of personal charisma and is actually a pretty skillful politician. And also because he backtracked in a major way from some of the more conservative positions he was taking, and started supporting substantial investments in infrastructure, increased school funding, and important environmental initiatives. So he took these issues away from the Democrats. Also Phil Angelides was not a very attractive candidate. He looked like the 97 pound weakling next to Arnold.

I wish I knew; I just don't get it.

I did NOT vote for him (and am curious as to whether the SF Bay Area did -- I suspect not).

I guess all his smears against Angiledes worked.

(I HATE having a Govenator; I was really looking forward to having a human being in that office, but, oh, well; all in all it was one of the better elections in most ways than I've seen in a long time, possibly ever. Maybe he learned his lesson and won't be such an *ss h*l* in the future.)

Schwarzenegger can't run for yet another time era in California. He plans to attempt to run for between the Senate seats. hard success Arnie, no one needs a womanizing, cigar chomping, austrian goomba as their Senator in this state. we % point headed, sensible applicants who have faith the folk have a ideal to be represented, no longer lectured at. Arnie replaced right into a bad "b" actor and is starting to be to be an excellent worse "c" politician permitting himself to be bullied and pushed around via the penal complex guards union, and bankrupting the different State companies who desperately % the money this clown is giving to penal complex guards in California (who now earn in excess of $one hundred fifty,000 a twelve months)
