My partner has 3 kids so it's hard for us to get out a lot and meet people. Since we don't really have family here we are looking for some people that are family oriented like us...... It would be nice to have dinner parties or get the kids together for playdates or have a network of gay and lesbian friends........ does anyone know where you can find people like that?

For some reason, there seem to be a lot of family oriented lesbians in the Marietta/Kennesaw area. In the past few weeks I've met three seperate couples in that area with kids. I think a lot of them are going to be at LeBuzz in Marietta tonight. Tonight is Drag King night there.
Also, you might try Charis Bookstore, a feminist bookstore, in little five points. They have a great community board, and the people who work there could probably get you in touch with some foks.
