I have been using altavista bablefish.com for translator on taking my incodede email pasting it on bablefish translator it just comes back with a differnt charactor craze how do I select the proper unknown language paste it and have it come back translated>

Hello yoursure,

OK, be sure that you have the "Select from and to languages" drop down menu set the way that you want, before hitting the "Translate" button. Sometimes it will be stuck in the wrong languages.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by encoded e-mails. Do you mean that you have some kind of encryption set up for privacy? That would definitely have an effect on the translation not working.

Language is constantly changing, it'll probably NEVER work right :) My son had a translation for "Panini trading cards" show as "Sandwich". Took a while to figure it out, then we had a good laugh. By the way, you should hear some of my personal translations! LOL
