I dont have the money that it takes to get a divorce,boy ther're expensive,where would I go to get this done for little or nothing.I am not getting any financial help and am about to lose my, or shall I say our, house..I am female with 2 children who works a ten dollar an hour job.I also do other work,cleaning,on my day off.Thank god my mom baby sits. thank you

You can print off divorce papers on the internet. Just file them. And that isnt much.

You'll have to shop around to find a lawyer that will give you a good deal to file your papers for you. You could also contact the court to see if there is someone designated to assisted with this paperwork - either way though I think there are standard court fees and paper filing fees that you cannot avoid.

You go to the court house, do the paper work file a finacial affidavit, so you don't have to pay the court fees. Try legal Aid, some attroneys do pro bono cases, you have to look around.

you may have to come up with a good down payment.....& then pay on it every week...but try to set this up face to face with the attny....not over the phone.......play the sympthy card....its hard to say no face to face.....youll have to call all of them for the best price....then go there and work your tears......but have a list of back ups.......i know u work alot but u gotta do this.......not someone else ..my sister did this and finally found one to help her.....it took some time but the tears payed off! sit down and figure out what you can afford every week......so you dont get in over your head....you dont want to miss a payment to your attny .....no matter what! but your gonna need some cash upfront! thats the part your gonna have to bust a-s to get! but you will find one to help ......my sister did .....so can you ! dont forget the TEARS face to face! lol

Look into the adds they have in the paper that say Divorce $199.00, you do all the paperwork yourself instead of paying for a lawyer to do it, I did my own divorce, we had no assets to fight over, but I paid $199.00 and did all the work myself, it's a hassle but it works.
