Yeah. I worked at 2 call centers. One lasted about 6 months and the other about a month. It wasn't so bad, i was 17 but you have to have a lot of patience and be able to "bite your tongue" when you get rude people. It sucks but it's a paycheck. The best kind is "inbound" calls... that's where people call you and you don't interrupt their dinner. You still sell things... you just don't call them at their house.

Yes it was summer before I went back to college for my sophomore year. It was a living He_ll for my. I'm not good at selling. And then I had some pretty bad people got cursed out over the phone, people got smart with you and you couldn't get smart back. It was horrible. But Now I'm nicer to Telemarketers, because I know what they go thought I will never curse them out or just hang up. I will be polite to them.
I didn't quit, I got Fired, I went 2 weeks without making a sell.

Yes , i have worked for chase bank as a tele marketer and have worked for 2 years and am still working as a tele marketeer !!!

Kinda, I was over it before they were done training me. I think my one and only paycheck was for 45 minutes. It was even for a charity, but I still couldn't do it.

yes..once selling newspapers...fired after 2 months for being late
once selling insurance..quit after 2 weeks cause nobody would buy it
once selling..not selling sloiciting timeshares..stayed 2and ahalf years..left cuz I worked for commisions and my "bookings" kept decreased
