The rich have so many excuses for avoiding helping the poor. They have more diseases due to more fun with their money and the poor have so many disease due hunger, and unavailability of the required resources. Just donate 1 $ from your thousands of dollar, if you can't help in any other way to the poor. Thinkk deeply whether you have helped anybody in life unselfishly. Just do your duty instead of finding excusing for not paying. We just help the poor students with their need. We dont blame their parents for their being in the world. Sam, India

Hi Sam. Many people, like myself, DO help the poor. However, there have been some problems for what you're specifically talking about:

1. Rich dictators or ruling classes of other countries that claim to accept the aid to benefit the poor but keep it for themselves or only distribute it to people they like.

2. Embarassment over the fact that they might be helping the poor overseas while they let people starve to death at home.

3. Organizations that LIE and say they will help the poor, but keep the money for themselves.

So what I'm saying is that it's not as easy to help the poor out as you think. It takes good people organized effectively to move the support in a meaningful way. I challenge you to think deeply about how that might happen and make it so because, if the support that were offered each year *DID* make it to the intended destinations the impact would be far more than what we see today!

We're still fighting selfish dictators today, you know...

Everyone should help everyone.

However, giving money to the poor does not help them... they will soon be without again. They need an educationon HOW TO KEEP the money. They have everything it takes to have money, they just simply choose to not keep it.

It is not how much money you make but how much you keep. If you keep your money and invest it, soon it will grow on its own. Yes it is that simple!

They should and some do, most don't.

Most are rich and selfish, some are rich and donate and contribute to the needs of others.

You can't say all rich don't help, that's categorizing.
