How many kids? What are you hosting? I'm sorry but I need more info to really answer you effectively. I'll give it a shot, though.
I suggest that you contact people or small businesses in your area who actually transport people (airport shuttle services, bus services, etc.) and ask them to "donate" some rides to collect the kids and bring them to your event. You can give them positive publicity and they can write off the time/expense/driver's pay as "charitable donations". It would also help if you can provide them with a receipt from your organization for their tax purposes. Hope that that helps. Good luck.
