If your goal is to play the latest 3d video games such as Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion, Microsoft flight simulator X, Call of Duty 2, ect. keep in mind a PCI graphics card will NOT play these games. This is undisputable and irrefutable. If modern 3d games are your goal, then you need to seriously consider a REAL upgrade, rather than wasting money on something thats not going to get you where you're trying to go. You'll end up spending $50 or $60 on a pci video card and getting all PO'd when you try to load a modern game. Anyone that tells you a pci video card will run modern games at acceptable detail levels, resolutions, and frame rates, is flat out lying to you.
My specs:
AMD 4400+ X2 socket 939
2 GB PC3200 Kingston Hyper X
ATI X850XT PCI Express video card
620 gb HD storage
Dual NEC ND-3500 dvd burners (each happily on its own ide)
Zalman coolers throughout!

And yes, it plays Elder Scrolls 4 like glass.
