My ultimate gift would be that he paid attention to all the little things. He took out all the trash without being asked, did the dishes, cleaned up after himself, and gave me time to just relax. However, I do still love a beautiful card, flowers once in a while, and definitely chocolate. If money was not object for my husband, I would love for him to take me on a mini vacation, buy a house and have the movers move everything for us so when I arrived to our new house, I wouldn't have to do everything!

Not looking for material objects.......I'd almost be suspicios....if he came home with roses and chocolates. Just a bit more help around the house. More physical attention other than ONLY in bed. Let me watch what I want on TV. Take me out to dinner on a weeknight, just because.
If she truly loves you then both of you already know that money is no object. That shouldn't even be part of the problem. Spending the money started out as an issue when you were trying to impress her in the beginning of your relationship. Give her some more attention and stick with it. Good luck.

A couple of ideas:
When she comes home have a path of rose petals & candles to the bed. Cook her a candlelight dinner. Send her flowers for no reason at all. Leave her little notes where she'll find them (in her car, on the bathroom counter, etc). If money truly is no object, wisk her off to Paris and tell her standing atop the Eifel Tower how much you love her (how very Tom Cruiseish, but women would LOVE it)
Once a guy I was dating brought my MOM flowers & gave her a beautiful "thank you" card - he thanked her for having me so that I could be in his life - it totally wowed me...

Time is more important than money when it comes to love and it is the little things that prove he has thought about me, like a bar of chocolate - much better than a fancy wrapped box any day.

occasionally leave a note telling her how gorgeous she is etc that she can find when she comes in or goes out to work. It doesnt cost a penny and will put a smile on her face for the day. The best things in life dont cost any money and mean more.

Last night, my lovely boyfriend got off the train where I was waiting for him on the platform, with a bouquet of flowers for me! Then he just held me all night, we watched the Shield....just relaxed...I know he loves me and it's the little thougthful things he does that shows it, not extravagent gifts. If I see something I like, he'll go back to the store and buy it for my birthday or Christmas or something. That's cute! Or just telling me that he loves me :)

well to be honest, showering with gifts is nice, but it doesn't show love, it makes it seem as though you're tryna make p for something. you have to make gestures like taking her to places where you both have good memories, take her to her favourite restaurant, lots of hugs help. Constant contact is crutial, even if its like just having your hand at the small of her back or something. Turning up at her work with a single red rose is a sweet gesture also.

Erm, chocolate, flowers, card.. there all the regular things which don't really do it for me to be honest lol. It would be more of a relaxing together on the sofa or something; cuddled up and just talking..
affection! thats the word!
but i donno.. maybe your looking for a way in which you can SHOW her...

Just by telling me and by making me feel loved and being there, no amount of money in this world could ever show me that my partner loves me.

Actions mean more than words.
Have you ever listened to the lyrics of a 50's song
called "Little things mean a lot" says it more than I can
