Hillary '08?
First of all, if you're gonna say some bullcrap about how much you hate Hillary, save it, I've heard it ALL before.

Now, this is assuming that she DOES choose to run in '08 and wins the Dem primary. Who should she select as a mate for VP? (from the following list):

* Sen John McCain
* Sen Barak Obama
* Nancy Pelosi
* John Edwards

What do you guys think? I think that any of these would be an explosive, and workable, combination!

P.S.: Yes, I realize that this ticket is unrealistic at all levels, but I'm just saying, which one do YOU think would be most interesting? (INTERESTING, not necessarily the most chance to win. Comment on all of them if you'd like).

First of all, nothing is unrealistic.

If Hillary is the Dem's candidate I suspect she will chose someone with minimum overt history, obviously that would put Barak in the line up however, experience would be a large mitigating factor which might eliminate him.

My next guess would not include McCain or Pelosi as they are both extremely controversial and McCain is not Liberal. Edwards.... Well what can I say, the only real experience he has is running for Vice President.

And my top pick for Hillary would be..... Governor Richardson of NM, excellent foreign relations and extremely popular in the West. Conceivably, he could lock up the entire Western region for her.

And those predictions my friend are from an Independent Conservative.... I think I did good!

You forgot Sen. Joe Biden (DE) for a VP or the other way around. I still don't know if the American public will go for a woman president. A woman VP yes, but I think that men still have too domineering of a role in this world to let a woman run the most powerful country on this planet. I think she would do an amazing job, and I'd love to think of Bill back in the White House. It was the last time that I was truly happy and carefree. Ah, the days of Clinton...

I highly doubt that McCain or Edwards would take the VP slot. Nancy Pelosi will be enjoying her new position. The most likely is Obama.

i know, my avitar is a girl. yes, i'm a guy but i'm in the fashion industry so i found it more fun having a female avitar. ok, so anyway, i would luv to see hillary and nancy pelosi run together. maybe this country would be so much better if women were running things. ok guys, quit feeling so threatened and admitt women are much smarter than guys and i would luv it if they ran everything.

Bill Clinton!

but seriously she would need to choose a moderate democrat for VP to secure some of the red states.

i'm actually very much for hillary running for prez, she cant do any worse. as for a running mate i can see either sen barak obama or john edwards. but as you said, they would all be workable.

that is not conceivable because the U.S. has a 2-party device. It means that one from the Republican party and one from the Democratic party who will be nominated from their respective activities will face off contained in the November election. My determination is Clinton vs. McCain. yet purely after the tremendous Tuesday primaries will all of us recognize who the more suitable bets will be and after the nomination.
