Well I would have to say losing a million dollars because I didn't know the person in the third world country so it wouldn't be personal. But the million would have been mine and that is personal. The better question would be what would cause you more grief: hearing a person in a third world country died or hearing about someone losing a million dollars.

Okay, I'm not going to lie here. Losing the million would cause me more grief. I'm not trying to sound cruel, but as everyone was saying, people die in third-world countries every single day. I don't know any of these people so it wouldn't really play on my feelings. If it were someone in my family or a friend, then that would cause me way more grief than losing the million. I feel sorry for the people that live in the thrid-world countries and sure it would be sad, but I could really use the million. It would help me out taking care of my little girl. So to lose that would just suck.

Knowing that people in third world countries are dying. I've never had a million dollars so I don't know what it's like to lose it. Eventhough people die every day the people in these countries are dying because they lack all the basic necesities we take for granted. Thousands of these deaths can be prevented w/ a million dollars.

The million dollars. People die every day in the third world. In fact, people die every day in the US. Unless it is someone close to me, it is not going to bother me more than losing a million dollars.

Well, definetly a million dollars. I used to live in a third world country and it is always sad when people die but it's kind of like...well, looking through the obituaries and seeing a bunch of old people's names in the paper. You don't know them so you aren't greiving for them, you just turn the page. Life is expecting death so don't be afraid of it.

If I lost a million of my own money, that would hurt like hell. People dying who are not closely related to me doesn't affect me much. Sorry.
