Its a commode not commort. Usually there are one line each hot and cold to the sink or shower. A spur from the cold to the commode and spurs to the shower....look for valves. They are put in so you can service the taps without shutting off the water to teh whole house.

Tony, besides needing a spelling lesson, your shower's cold water faucet needs to be fixed. It could be scaled over, or you could have something inside it blocking the ports on the valve. You may be able to pull the valve stem (with the water off to the house) and see what the problem is, or you may end up having to replace the faucet. If you are unsure, you should call a plumber.

u hav one of two problems here 1,u hav an electric shower that has a stuck open valve which is quite common and is best left to repair by shower manufacturer or 2,ur on a combi boiler thermostatic shower which means the valve on the tap has seized not a straightforward repair for the novice so u best call a good plumber
