I have the same issue, you can hardly see my natural brows, especially in bright light. The bright side to this is that I never have to worry about plucking or waxing my brows :-)

If you want to stick with a pencil, instead of switching products to a powder or gel, use very short strokes. Don't try to draw one long line. Not only does it come out uneven, it looks fake.
No matter what product you choose to use, a big part of it is the application. Step back from the mirror, and look at the natural arch, shape, and hair growth of your brows. You need to work with that, not against it. A good way to follow your brow line is to mark it with 3 points using your brow pencil.
1. Hold your pencil vertically next to your nose, at the corner of your eye. Mark a very light dot where the pencil hits in your brow. Your brows should never appear closer together than this point, it starts to look like a unibrow.
2. Rotate the pencil until it's directly over your pupil when you look straight ahead. This is the highest part of the arch. Mark it lightly.
3. Again, roll the pencil outwards to the corner of your eye near the temple. This is the end of your brow, you don't want extra wide brows. Mark this point.
Once you've gotten your 3 points, you now have a quick and easy guide to follow when applying the cosmetics. Plus, you didn't have to spend any extra money :-)
Then once you've applied the pencil, use an eyebrow brush (or eyelash brush can work, as long as you have short, stiff bristles) to blend the makeup for a more natural look. I prefer an angled brush myself, but you can really use whatever you want to get a more even brows. They won't always match each other, but it should match the natural growth of your brows, and complement your eyes nicely.

Define thin brows with a brow powder. Use a flat angled brow brush and color over the natural shape of the brow. Apply to the outer edges first, then move to the area closer to the nose.

USe a pencil to measure. Place the pencil at the outside end of your eye and put it diagonally this is where the eyebrown should end. Then put the pencil in fron of your eye across the dark part of your eye and that is where the arch should be. Its kind of hard to explain but i hop it helped.

If you choose to dye your eyebrows use a very light color itll look really odd if you have blonde hair and black eyebrows!
Hope i helped!

Same here, I like to use the clinique light eye brown cake with an arched brush and you need to start from the outer part of brow and come into the eye. It works very nice.

Have you thought of cosmetic tattooing? I've seen some amazing results. I'm thinking about it myself because I have the same type of eyebrows. DON'T just go to any tattoo parlor. Do some research in your area (on internet ?) for specifically Cosmetic tattooing. I'd like to have my eyeliner done too.

Instead of drawing them on, why don't you have your hair stylist or Esthetician dye them for you? I think this would be less time consuming and look a lot better than penciled in eyebrows. Good Luck!

why draw them on? if you actually have the eyebrow hair and didn't shave them off so that you can draw them on go to the salon and get them died a slightly darker color it will save you a whold lot of time, plus look more natural.

Instead of using long stroke's of the pencil , you need to use short , light feather like stroke's , with the closest to your natural color pencil.

DON'T DO IT!!

Instead, use very subtle hair dye to make them darker. That way they will look visible, but natural.
