Everyone is different. Some people crave the peace and tranquility of being along (or in a village), and others enjoy a fast paced city life with lots of shopping, movies, clubs, exc.

There is only one way to find out. You should move to another place of your choice and rent an apartment or live with a friend at first. If you like it stay there, if not then simply move back.

lol..I did the opposite, I lived in a big city and we moved to a small town..wow big difference! But I was soo tired of the city that a small town was a perfect place for me to be! Try it, worst case ya dont like and could move back! But I am thinking if u hate it that much then yeah you would be happier in a bigger city! There is much more to do in a city, lol...but I like the quiet life much better...lol...
well best of luck to ya!
have a good day!

I think at some point in your life you need to experience living in a city setting if you never have. How else will you know if you like it or if you'll miss the small village life.

Depends. What is you personality. What are you goals of family, career, happiness?
I live in Down Town Toronto on the Lakeshore and I love it!
I will be moving to Australia in the future to change it up.
I could stand a small town or village living.
'Move on up!'

You could move here with me to Baltimore City, in Maryland but being from a small town I think you would be overwhelmed. It is fast paced and expensive.

Oh and dont walk the streets you will get shot!

I like where I live, a very small town in rural Ohio. I don't know if you should move or not. That is really a very personal choice. If you are not happy, perhaps you should give it some consideration. Good luck and God bless

I live in the city in an apartment, I don't like it at all. I'm a country person. I moved here to be with my husband. Trying to talk him into moving to the country.

Living in the city is noisy and more expensive and the crime is a lot higher, but you gotta do what ya gotta do, I have lived in both and i am now back to the small town.

It depends on your personal preference. You sound young, so yes, a city would probably do for you. I prefer a small town. Less crime, you know more people, you can enjoy the clean air and hear the night sounds.

You don't have to move permanently. Take some time off and travel. I am living in Georgia, but have traveled all over the world. I am happy here in my little community.
